1 day excursion from Fes to Volubilis

On this day trip from Fes to Volubilis and Meknes, we will pick you up early from your accommodation or the airport in Fes and begin our journey to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the former capital of Sultan Moulay Ismail.

First, we will visit some of the city’s most famous attractions, including Bab Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Basin, the Royal Stables, the Granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After that, we will explore the historic Qara Prison.

Next, you will have free time for lunch and a short walk around the city. Then, we will continue to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 30 km from Meknes. Here, you can discover the well-preserved Roman ruins, beautiful mosaics, ancient columns, and impressive archways.

Finally, we will return to Fes. Before the end of the trip, we can stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Medina of Fes for amazing panoramic views. Afterward, we will drop you off at your accommodation, marking the end of your day trip from Fes to Volubilis and Meknes.
