Join us for an exciting day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira. First, we will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 AM and begin our journey toward the Atlantic coast. Then, we will cross the Haouz Plain and stop in the village of Chichaoua for a coffee break before continuing to Sidi Mokhtar.

Along the way, we will drive through a beautiful argan forest. In addition, you may see goats climbing the argan trees, a unique sight found in Morocco. We will also stop for photos before continuing to Essaouira.

Once we arrive, our first stop will be the fishing port, where you can see the famous blue boats, old Portuguese fortifications, and historic cannons facing the Atlantic Ocean. Next, we will explore the medina, a UNESCO-listed old town known for its narrow streets, traditional markets, and historic buildings.

After that, visit some of Essaouira’s most important landmarks, including La Scala, which was built to protect the city from attacks from the sea. We will also see Bab Laalouj, one of the main gates of the medina, and the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter.

As you continue exploring, you will find many art galleries, local craft shops, souvenir stores, and workshops selling products made from thuya wood. Then, enjoy free time for a delicious seafood lunch at a local restaurant or café.

Following lunch, you can visit the historic kasbah or relax by the beach. If you love the sea, take a walk along the sandy shore, enjoy the ocean views, and watch kite surfers and windsurfers in action. Finally, in the late afternoon, we will return to Marrakech and drop you off at your accommodation.
