Day 1
Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges - Merzouga

On the first day of your 4 days desert tour from Ouarzazate, we will pick you up from your accommodation or the airport and start your adventure. First, we will explore Ouarzazate city and visit Atlas Studios, where many famous movies were filmed. Next, we will visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most famous sites in the city.

After that, we will drive to Skoura Oasis, where you will visit the beautiful Amridil Kasbah surrounded by green palm trees. Then, we will continue to the Rose Valley, which is famous for its Rose Festival in May. Here, you can learn about local rose products such as rose water, perfumes, and oils.

Later, we will drive through the Dades Valley and stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the amazing views of the Dades Gorges. Afterward, we will continue to Todra Gorge, where you can see the impressive red cliffs and enjoy the peaceful nature. We will also stop for lunch and have some free time to explore the area.

On the second day of your 4 days Morocco tour from Ouarzazate, you will start the day early to watch the beautiful sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting for you to explore the desert area.

First, we will visit an old eyeliner mine near Merzouga by 4×4 vehicle. Next, we will visit a local nomad family in their traditional tents and learn about their simple way of life while enjoying a cup of Berber tea.

After that, we will continue to Khamlia village, famous for its Gnaoua music and traditional dances. The local people, whose origins come from countries like Mali, Sudan, and Niger, will share their beautiful music and culture with you.

Later, you will have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then, we will take a relaxing walk through a palm grove before visiting the peaceful Merzouga Lake, also known as Flamingo Lake.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Merzouga, where you will enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
