5 days tour from marrakech to fes

On the third day of your 5 days Desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, we start the morning with breakfast at the hotel in Merzouga. After that, we begin an exciting 4×4 desert tour to discover the hidden beauty of the Sahara Desert.

First, we drive across the dunes and follow part of the old Rally Dakar route. This off-road adventure gives you amazing desert views and a real taste of Sahara life. Then, we visit a nomadic family and enjoy a glass of traditional Moroccan tea with them.

Next, we continue to Khamlia village, a small village near Merzouga known for its Gnawa music and culture. Here, you can listen to live Gnawa music and learn about the local traditions of families with roots in Sub-Saharan Africa.

After that, we visit the seasonal Lake Srij, located near the golden dunes of Merzouga. This peaceful lake is sometimes visited by migratory birds, especially during certain seasons. Later, we stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can try the famous Berber pizza.

In the afternoon, you will have some free time to relax before your camel trek begins. Before sunset, we take you to the camel meeting point. Then, you ride camels across the Sahara dunes toward your desert camp.

Along the way, we stop in the middle of the dunes to watch a beautiful sunset. Finally, we arrive at the desert camp, where you will enjoy dinner and a special night under the stars. After dinner, you can relax around the campfire, listen to Berber music, and enjoy an unforgettable nomadic desert experience.
